Aventura Parks will be hosting a glow-in-the-dark Word Hunt Challenge. Integrating its tree surfing, zip-lining and rope climbing circuits, families will work in teams in search of clues.

While crossing obstacles and making their way through the park, teams will need to find the inspirational terms, which are written in invisible ink and dotted all across, using special flashlights. You’ll get an hour to sweep the four circuits using your resources and collaboration tactics, so it’s time to brush up on those pep talk skills for some motivation.

The winners get medals, prizes – and bragging rights, of course. The challenge is open to kids aged ten and above, so older kids and tweens are welcome to play with friends or join Mum and Dad – no one has the upper hand at the Word Hunt Challenge.

Aventura will stay open until after midnight during Ramadan, with discounted packages that include suhoor at the in-house restaurant, Chris Café. Fear not, you won’t have to find your way through the dark as there will be plenty of lights as well as individual headlamps to keep it safe for all.

Weekends will be extra special with bazaar games, face painting, a bouncy castle and even henna artists – with 30 percent off general entry, so there will be plenty to do for the whole family.
Dhs160 (Word Hunt Challenge). Open weekdays 4pm-midnight, weekends 8.30am-1.30pm and 4pm-midnight). Mushrif Park, aventuraparks.com
