Springfest at Yas Waterworld

Visit Yas Waterworld during Springfest and enjoy a variety of new shows and activities including a mermaids show with underwater performances at 2pm and 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and even a mermaid meet-and-greet at 3pm and 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The Amwaj Pool will have two giant aquatic trampolines from 11am to 6pm, plus there will be live music and games, and try the Yas Super Shake, a refreshing drink topped with whipped cream and sweets. The event ends with an egg hunt on Saturday, April 7 with giveaways and prizes.

The Ultimate Easter Brunch

Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi offers The Ultimate Easter Brunch, which features live-cooking stations and an array of Easter-themed activities for children, including an Easter egg hunt and a bouncy castle. Guests will also have complimentary access to Generation V, a supervised kids’ zone that features wall-climbing, playhouses and a soft-play area.

Visit the Once Upon a Springtime Festival at Yas Marina and enjoy a weekend of themed activities inspired by fairytale legends and popular children’s stories in a whimsical setting. There will be games and live entertainment for a magical experience the whole family will enjoy, such a Unicorn Land with bouncy castles and pony rides, the Secret Garden with giant outdoor games, a Wonderland maze and Enchanted Forest with face-painting, arts and crafts, and more. Venetian Village outlets offer special Easter brunches, including La Brasserie, which runs Friday to Sunday and features a three-courses of French cuisine; on Saturday and Sunday, Todd English’s Olives has a traditional Easter brunch with live music, egg painting and an egg hunt; also on Saturday and Sunday, Kaizen offers a multiple-course Japanese meal plus the traditional Sanbon-jime ceremony to give thanks to life’s blessings.

Emirates Palace hosts an al fresco Easter picnic featuring a menu of chargrilled meats and vegetables, a dessert hut, waffles and crepes, an ice-cream wagon and more. There will also be a traditional Easter egg hunt, children’s entertainment, games and sports.

The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort and Spa hosts an Easter Family Day celebration complete with live music, a petting zoo, children’s activities including an egg hunt and a bunny chase. There will be a brunch at La Parisienne from 11.30am for Dh233, which includes a pool pass. At 5pm there will be a 5K run hosted by Gulf Multi Sport, for which registration closes on Tuesday, March 27.

The Egg Hunt Legoland Dubai Legoland Dubai celebrates spring with The Egg Hunt, an event that lets families use a treasure map, riddles and clues to find six hidden Lego eggs. When they are finished, they will be entered to win a prize for Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park tickets as well as Lego box sets. All guests are invited to help build a spring garden in Miniland, complete with colourful eggs, bunnies and flowers. There is also a virtual egg hunt game online at www.legoland.ae, where visitors can collect as many eggs as possible for the chance to be entered into a draw to win park tickets.

Led by pastry chef Aaliya Randeree from Baker & Spice, the event lets kids colour treats using icing made from natural ingredients, such as pomegranate for pinks, saffron for yellows and blue pea for purple.
