Hosted by Rekhta, a platform dedicated to Urdu Poetry, this lively celebration is arriving in Dubai for the first time. Jashn-e-Rekhta will be a culture carnival for all Urdu-speakers and lovers to indulge in a deeply poetic and versatile language. See live performances of ghazals and qawwalis by intentionally renowned talent, along with dastangoi (an Urdu storytelling art form from the 13th century), interactive panel discussions, poetry recitations and conversations with celebrities.
