Dubai has always been at the forefront of healthcare awareness and solutions. From diabetes walks to the annual Dubai Fitness Challenge, the city is dedicated to improving the lifestyles and treatment of people of all ages, illness and conditions. The latest in a string of awareness-oriented events is Walk For Life – Positive Action Against Cancer. This walk will take place on World Cancer Day, 8 February, at Zabeel Park and invites all to support those fighting the disease and those working relentlessly to find cures.

Walk For Life is an initiative launched to facilitate the exchange of information so that friends and families can reduce the risk of cancer in their loved ones. Survivors will share their real-life experiences while doctors will impart professional advice and wisdom. Along with the inspiring and informative discussions, participants can enjoy family and group activities to encourage community spirit.
