On 9 February, classical music aficionados will be able to see Dmitry Sitkovetsky, the legendary Russian violinist, performing live on stage at the Madinat Theatre. He’ll be performing masterpieces by composers including Tartini, Grieg, and Schubert, and he’ll be using a priceless Stradivarius violin, which was made in 1717. He’ll be accompanied on the night by the acclaimed pianist Anna Tamarkina.

Sitkovetsky has performed as a soloist with some of the world’s leading orchestras, including the LA Philarmonic Orchestra, and the Concertgebouw Orchestra, and has performed at festivals all over the world, such as Salzburg, Lucerne and Edinburgh.
