The upcoming show will feature 350 exhibitors, 400 inspirational speakers, over 250 sessions, eight conference streams and more than 10,000 retailers. There will be an eclectic mix of disrupters, business leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators from across the globe, covering subjects from delivery to retargeting, AI to connectivity and cyber security to the use of bots. Another feature of this event is the Buyer Programme, which offers retailers, telecommunication companies, banks and government entities a limited number of complimentary passes to attend the conference and create business partnerships, while learning from 350 forerunning solution providers in exclusive one-on-one meetings. Another highlight is the Seamless Pitch-offs, encouraging all Fintech and Commerce start-ups to enter a competition, with the winner receiving a $5000 cash prize and $500,000 in funding.
Last year, there were 320 exhibitors and sponsors, 10,688 visitors from over 96 countries, and 1,091 senior buyers in the VIP programme. The agenda was separated into various sectors, with each showcasing innovative products and solutions relevant to the market. The show’s main attractions were the E-commerce University, which offered practical advice to SMEs and start-ups, the FinTech Showcase, Launchpad, Start-up Zone, Seamless TV and the Pitch-offs. The goal of the event was to bring together visitors and exhibitors under one roof, to learn from each other and to build lasting partnerships.
