There’s no better place in Dubai to experience fusion cuisine than Al Seef, with its distinctive blend of old meets new.
The heritage district is steeped in history and offers a huge amount of Emirati culture, bringing together contemporary elements of life in modern Dubai while paying homage to the city that once was.
As part of Dubai Food Festival, which lasts until Saturday March 9, the Meraas destination is hosting daily food fusion showcases and challenges – as well as daily tasting sessions from 4pm to 8pm.
Dining concepts on offer at Al Seef include lively Lebanese bar 961LB, creekside Armenian spot Mamikonyan and Arabic street food restaurant Al Mangal Express.
That’s not to mention the dozens of tiny hole-in-the-wall surrounding the area spanning the entire gamut of fusion cuisine.
Visitors who spend Dhs200 and above at any food and beverage outlet in Al Seef during Dubai Food Festival can enter a draw with the chance of winning one of 20 Meraas Gift Cards, each worth Dhs1,000.
Planning on more of a budget visit? You can still win big. That’s because social media enthusiasts who rack up the most likes and views on posts from Al Seef are also eligible to take home a Meraas Gift Card.
And to add more joy to the foodie festival, more Meraas surprises are in store for diners at Al Seef with special vouchers offered by select retailers.
As Dubai hosts the sixth annual Dubai Food Festival (DFF) 2019, Meraas’ destinations have lined up themed activities that encourage visitors to ‘Live the Food’ in all its forms.
For the duration of this year’s festival, they will be offering a full calendar of delectable gastronomic experiences, ranging from chef-fusion challenges to live cook-offs.
Daily until Wed Mar 9. Al Seef, near Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, Dubai Creek (800 637 227). For more details, go to alseef.ae.
