Shark thriller movie Jaws is terrifying enough as it is – but how about watching it from the beach?
Zero Gravity is challenging guests to see the classic 1975 film just metres from the water during its latest Cinema on the Sand screening. And where could be more appropriate?
As everyone knows, Jaws itself is set on a beach resort, with a giant man-eating killer shark unleashing chaos on the town of Amity during two hours of carnage.
It’s up to a local sheriff, a marine biologist, and an old seafarer to hunt the beast down, which ends just as well as you’d expect.
Tickets will cost you Dhs50, but you’ll get Dhs50 towards food and drink so it’s basically free.
At previous screenings there have been special Hollywood-themed menus, with options including popcorn, chilli cheese fries and nachos, so we’re looking forward to seeing what’s on offer this time.
It’s worth remembering that this screening is for those aged 21 and over only (remember your ID), and there’s a casual dress code so just head along as you are.
